Projektet UCare KFUM genomförs med stöd från Europeiska socialfonden. Målgruppen är personer med utan sysselsättning  som flytt från kriget i Ukraina och syftar till att hjälpa dem att komma närmare arbetsmarknaden. Projektet har redan hjälpt 100 flyktingar att komma ut i arbete. Med stöd från Europeiska socialfonden ska KFUM Distrikt Öst nu hjälpa ännu fler.

Tillsammans gör vi skillnad

KFUM Distrikt Öst ser nu fram emot att, tillsammans med House of Ukraine och med stöd från Europeiska socialfonden, fortsätta detta viktiga arbete med att stödja människor på flykt. Med fokus på hälsa, jämställdhet och social inkludering hoppas UCare KFUM kunna bidra till en mer rättvis och inkluderande arbetsmarknad i Stockholmsregionen. Projektet innehåller flera olika delar som alla syftar till att stärka deltagarnas integration. Genom att erbjuda trygga rum, skräddarsytt stöd, språkcafé och fokus på kvinnors delaktighet genomför vi nu projektet med målet att fler personer som flytt kriget i Ukraina ska kunna etablera sig i Sverige.

The project UCare KFUM is implemented with support from the European social fund. The target group is individuals without employment who have fled the war in Ukraine, and focus on helping the participants getting closer to the labour market. The project has already helped 100 refugees into employment and studies. With the funds from the European social fund, KFUM Distrikt Öst will now help even more individuals.

Together we can make a difference

KFUM Distrikt Öst, in cooperation with the House of Ukraine and the European social fund, now look forward to continuing this important work of supporting refugees. With focus on health, equality and social inclusion UCare KFUM aim to contribute to a more fair and inclusive labour market in the region of Stockholm. The project contains different modules all focused on strengthening the participant’s integration. UCare KFUM offers safe spaces, individually-tailored support, and a language café, all with a focus of women’s participation. The pilot phase of the project is underway and will run until March 2025. The project will be ongoing until Spring 2027. We are very enthusiastic about what we have accomplished so far and look forward to the coming years.
